Jane and Dick Jewelry is a very small-in-size, large-in-heart DIY'er/entrepreneur/indie-biz chick with a moderate to
severe bead addiction, located in Austin, Texas.  That's right, you guessed it.... a one-man show.  Well, a one-woman
show.  Unless you count the Imaging Dept. (ie, my Mom) and that would make two.  Women.  But hey, that's why shit gets
done around here.

My studio....a garage (very well separated, and yes, even furnished and air conditioned -Texas, remember?).  My
environment, some loud music, my teenage boys going in and out of the house, and my husband rambling about what's for
dinner.  Very conducive to beading.

I first began beading in September of 2007 as a form of therapy after my sister died and was immediately fascinated by
the hematite beads.  They are so awesome!  So beautiful and so sexy!  They look great on both guys and girls and they go
with absolutely anything you wear!  (And there's no doubt my sister would've loved them!)

Each piece handcrafted, each set uniquely designed, Jane and Dick tries to bring a new look to 'beaded jewelry'.  A
cool look.  Nothing like the traditional look of pretty Swarovski crystals and seed beads, but the more modern and
conventional look of hematite and chromes.   These are by far more appealing and alot sexier just because of the fluidity
of the hematite.  (We LOVE hematite!!)

Jane and Dick takes it even further by making them fun to choose and fun to wear.  Where else can you get cool,
affordable jewelry that's fashioned to resemble a comic book hero?  We totally agree that jewelry should reflect your
style, but shouldn't it be as much fun too?  Maybe fine jewelry isn't necessarily fun jewelry.  Ours is.  Fun. Check 'em out...
